This painting was done in Jamaica. I gathered these shells from the beach, took them to the villa where I was staying. Sitting on the balcony as the sun began to set, I started painting.
This Framed 36 x24 Oil on canvas painting was done using the underpainting and glazing technique, hence the luminous colors reflecting from deep within the painting.
